why "the loom"
The origin of Munford, Tennessee is traced back to cotton and cattle farming. The settlement was established around 1840 by the Mt. Zion Methodist circuit meeting house (traveling Methodist church) and the community built up to serve the families carrying out that work.
Today, the town is rooted in faith and family as a bedroom community to Memphis. This redevelopment with retail and restaurant uses on the main level and office space above will act as infrastructure upon which community connections thrive.

The 1,900 square foot work club is the first layer of the project planned for completion late summer 2026 at 1508 Munford Avenue. haizlip studio+daily design GROUP, a local architecture and design firm, is the first of the founding members, and we’re searching for value aligned businesses to join alongside. The values are simple: our member businesses are built of kind humans with a commitment to positively impacting our community.
The main level at 1506 Munford Avenue will also be ready for leasing late summer 2026. If your destination retail/food service concept would bring something special to Munford, we may be a good fit! The adjacent corner storefronts will begin full renovations once 1506/8 are fully leased and operational.
